Scatter Brain

franklylost - I cannot pretend in any way to be knowledgeable when it comes to Noise as a genre, and my experience as far as Ambient music is with things that are very melodic. Scatter Brain is *not* something I’d describe as melodic (aside from the last track,) and I know many people who might not even call it music, but there’s something that it definitely is: it’s Art. If you’re looking for the stability and regularity of rhythm and pace, you won’t find it here. But what you will find in an installation-esque, bit-crunched, dark, and Matrix-evoking patter of digital contemplation. It’s like listening to the sonograph of a nightmare. It’s a dial-tone that’s out to get you. I’m not sure what I expected, but what I got was complex and definitely evokes emotion. I feel like it’s probably good: if that’s what you’re looking for. Favorite track: Head Space.
